BRING LUNCH AN EXTRA DAY EACH WEEK.
Try this challenge - in lieu of going out to eat, bring your lunch to work or school one extra day each week. Doing so each week for a year could save you quite a bit. Check out our lunch calculator
to see what you could save.
ENCOURAGE AN ENTREPRENEUR.
Help your child or grandchild start a business selling lemonade, mowing laws in summer or shoveling in winter, or selling handmade goods. Not only does it teach valuable money management skills and instill a strong work ethic, they'll be able to begin saving those hard-earned dollars for even bigger dreams.
SET SEPARATE SAVINGS GOALS.
When establishing goals, try splitting them into categories like "DO", "BUY" and "GIVE". By doing this, you can work toward specific purposes with smaller goals that are easier to achieve. A great way to be successful in your savings efforts!
