Employee Involvement

Our team is engaged in mutliple programs that support education in our community.
A good education includes learning how to manage money responsibly, which is why we partner with schools to provide free resources that enrich the school experience. We're committed to your students' financial success by providing these financial tools:
Our team provides career panels as an efficient alternative to job shadowing. Future-focused students have the opportunity to hear from the full executive team, including the CEO, of our not-for-profit financial institution.

By attending a panel, students will:

  • Be exposed to a wide variety of professions that exist within a large financial
  • Learn about Firefly's history and employee culture
  • Discover more about our executive team including their role, day-to-day activities, and career path
  • Receive advice on gaining essential life skills
Our classroom visits are highly interactive and cater to topics that are relevant to students’ current learning needs. We ask for student questions in advance to ensure that even the quietest of voices are heard. Choose from dozens of unique seminars led by industry professionals.

To provide a high level of education, we select the staff member(s) that are a best fit to cover specific topics including careers, finance, marketing, etc. Presenters come from all areas of our credit union, from branch employees to members of our executive team.

Supplemental materials, refreshments and door prizes are included with our in-class visits.
  • Account-opening services on-site to save you time
  • Sponsorships and donations for events that help your students, and school, grow
  • Fundraising options for your school's organizations with a donation made to the club for each individual who opens a Firefly account

Our business development team helps the KS95 team “celebrate and recognize teachers’ contributions to our kids in helping make them successful in school and for the future” by visiting the classrooms of winners to help congratulate them on their contributions to educating the community’s youth.
